Looking forward to the International Breastfeeding Conference 2019

Birds chirp cheerily, vibrant butterflies peacefully flicker across a bright sky, our radiant sun illuminates the abundance of summer. In August in Wisconsin, it is almost never appropriate to utter January. Unless of course you are speaking of Healthy Children Project’s 25th International Breastfeeding Conference in Deerfield Beach, Fla. January 15 to 18, 2019. The conference flyer was just released last week to reveal a superstar lineup of speakers.

“The speakers are going to be amazing,” Kajsa Brimdyr, PhD, CLC confirms. “I’m looking forward to hearing from close friends and from new colleagues.”

Katie Hinde, PhD author of the super-popular TED talk on human milk, will speak at the upcoming conference. She’ll present Investigations of Mother’s Milk at the Intersections of the Life Sciences and Social Sciences and How the Biological “Recipe” of Milk Differs for Sons and Daughters. Hinde is the author of several studies featured in the Lactation Counselor Training Course (LCTC). Healthy Children Project’s Cindy Turner-Maffei, MA, ALC, IBCLC and Karin Cadwell, PhD, FAAN, RN, ANLC, IBCLC never disappoint, especially during their joint, annual presentation of Unique and Surprising Findings About Maternal Child Health.

Brimdyr says she is already looking forward to sharing her latest research at the conference.

“…And talking about my favorite subject,” she adds.
